Hazel and Mouse v. 2

Alright, here's version 2 of my last update, Hazel and Mouse from Watership Down. I like this version a bit better than the last. You forget how unforgiving traditional mediums are when you don't use them as much. I did this on the computer and there were times when I was so glad for that "Undo" function

Technically I shouldn't be relying all the time on my computer art programs, because it's good to be knowledgeable in all mediums. But I was thinking that if this is a concept piece for my portfolio, I should really try and put my best work in there. If I do a better piece on the computer than I do in colored pencil, shouldn't I use that? Anyway, the other pic won't go to waste as my mother would like to frame it.

I plan on doing a few more concept pieces from Watership Down before I move on to original pieces for my portfolio. I'd also like to do some storyboarding and animation from the book. I have a lot planned out...
