Um okay these new DA catagories are really strange o_o; I wanted to put this one in GAMES but I have no clue where the game catagory is D:

Anyway, this piece has a long explaniation, so be warned XD I've been playing Super Princess Peach for DS and in the game there are "Mad Boos". They are like the opposite of regular Boos and will chase you if you look at them. But when you're not looking at them they don't look mad, in fact they look confused...in a "just-had-a-frontal-labotomy" sort of way. They kind of look around them with their mouth hanging open...just struck me as funny for some reason and I wanted to draw one. But I couldn't just draw a Boo, no, I had to give it a certian personality.

Now, on to the second part of my explanation. Remember on Sesame Street when Cookie Monster would do those Masterpiece Theater spoofs and he would call himself Alistair Cookie? Well, I thought of Alistair Cookie, sitting in his high back plush covered chair and instantly imagined the Mad Boo as Alistair Cookie was. So I dressed him smartly, with a monocole, a pipe, a pocket square and a cup of tea. The two worlds of smart and stupid colliding seemed just right to me.

Thirdly, this was also a test on color. To see what various shades I could pull from a main color and still make the object convincing...not like it was out of place, too saturated, or desaturated. I think it came out pretty good, though maybe some parts aren't as seemless as others.

So that's it, that is how I came up with this piece. Took me about a week on and off using MSPaint and my tablet.
